Syncing Inventory

By default, Whiplash will attempt to sync inventory level to each e-commerce platform associated with an item. This means that the orders placed in Shopify will affect inventory levels in WooCommerce and all other shops.

These are the default values. Inventory Sync settings are located in General Preferences.

Items can be configured to sync under different circumstances. In most cases, the default settings above are appropriate.

Opting out of inventory sync

You might want to opt out of inventory syncing. Some typical reasons are:

You can turn off inventory syncing between Whiplash and individual stores/platforms by going to your Shops preferences.
